Nostalgia Futura

Nostalgia Futura was entirely curated by Annalaura Tamburrini within Paesi Tuoi Festival Fasano 2026, whose artistic direction she shared with Livia Condemi, Alberto Mocellin and Antonietta Rubino. The first Apulian edition of the literature and photography festival took place in Fasano’s historic centre from 17 to 19 July 2026, bringing together writing, visual arts, performances, workshops and public encounters around belonging, personal geographies and the search for one’s place in the world.

The exhibition grew from an international open call conceived and launched by the curator. Artists were invited to approach nostalgia as a generative force accompanying real and symbolic journeys, attempts to take root elsewhere and the desire to continue belonging. Fifteen projects in photography and video art transformed distance, memory and mobile identities into living material across the Museo della Casa alla Fasanese and other spaces in the historic centre.
