The exhibition

Through Her Lens investigates the contemporary image as an infrastructure rather than a simple instrument of representation: a device capable of shaping subjectivity, organising memory and coding social and power relations. Photography expands into dialogue with video, performance, installation and archives.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between historical pioneers and later generations, moving through the body, memory and archive, ecologies of perception and the politics of looking. Among the participating artists are Letizia Battaglia, Yael Bartana, Elina Brotherus, Regina José Galindo, Pipilotti Rist, Cindy Sherman, Francesca Woodman and Annalaura Tamburrini.
